The answer is easy. Doe for the freezer, buck on the wall. That means you let every buckwalk away if it´s not bigger than the one you already got mounted. You might have another chance next year...

The Whitetails are not in rut yet, but the Sika in Dorchester is rutting at the moment, but heat has slowed down the rut though. Got one with the bow the other day though, a 5pointer. First bow kill....

If you couldn´t tell if it was shot or not, why blame it on hunters ? I have found 3 nice bucks (one with 22inch inside spread), none of them had been shot ! Sometimes these guys just don´t make it...
