I drew a buck tag for 291 which is fairly close to 270. Do you know of the activity in 291 or have any tips for this unit? I'm planning on hunting BLM unless I get any better ideas.

Your right, if you think of the plot or graph of the trajectory it makes sence. The scope diled in at 200 is accounting for some of the drop seen at 100. Thanks.

Thats what I initally thought, but the delta drop from 100 to 300 yds is different. For the 100 yd its 13.5", but for the long its 9.5". Doesn't seem to add up.

I have decided to use the nosler partition, 180 or 200 grain. I think it's available in a Winchester and Federal. Is this correct? I'm hoping Cabelas in Dundee has them in stock.

The DNR hasn't given me the area yet. I will get specifics later according to the letter I recieved.
