I haven't been to a gun show since I went with my dad and uncle probably over 15 years ago.

RE: Which 20ga. pump would you choose?

Thanks for the replies guys.
I agree with you one the 870. I have an 870 Super Magnum and I love it.
She just didn't like how the 870 fit her. Oh well, I'd rather get her something she's...

Which 20ga. pump would you choose?

Took my wife down to look at some shotguns and she didn't really care for the 870. Of the youth models they had to choose from, she liked the Winchester 1300 Ranger and the Benelli Nova youth models...

Charles Daly Semi-Auto Shotguns

Was looking at semi-auto shotguns and found that the Charles Daly Semi-autos are significantly cheaper than others. Why is this? Is this a "you get what you pay for" thing, or are they decent guns? ...

RE: Shotgun for wife - Questions

Thanks for all the replies guys!
I think I will start by looking at the 870 Express youth. It sounds like it'd do the trick.
As far as the 11-87, I'm sure she'd like the fact of not having to...

RE: Shotgun for wife - Questions

Probably to start off with, just some clay shooting.
I'm hoping to be able to get her to go hunting for partridge, pheasant, small game, possibly waterfowl. Is a 20 good enough for ducks and geese?

Shotgun for wife - Questions

My wife mentioned an interest in possibly wanting to go shooting sometime with me, so I was starting to look into what might be a good shotgun to get her. It would probably be used as a multi-purpose...

RE: Too young for a " real" bow?

I think he's old enough. I grew up with a long bow and a recurve. Just target practicing with my dad and shooting around. Then when I was eleven I got my first compound bow. Started hunting at 12,...

RE: michagan hunting

I went up to Houghton Lake with a buddy to hunt with my dad. Collectively, we saw a few does and a button buck. The week prior, my dad saw two spikes, a four, a six and a big 8! Don' t know where...

RE: Which Gun

I didn' t take the time to read Every page, but I didn' t see too many shotguns.
If I had to only choose one gun that I already own. It' d have to be my Remington 870 Express Super Magnum. I can...

RE: Need an orange vest w/ gamepouch.

I think my wife got me mine from Gander Mountain. Not sure if you have those out there. It' s a pretty nice vest (big pockets, game pouch, shell loops) and I know she didn' t pay $80. At least she...

RE: What grain bullet to use

My dad said that he feels the 170 grain bullets are more accurate in his 30-30 Marlin. Just another oppinion. Probably would do best if you tried them all out for yourself.
