will hurt my turkey gun?

Im wanting to do a little shotgun hunting for deer this year and was wondering if i swapped chokes and and shot rifled slugs out of my turkey gun would it hurt the barrel and affect the patterning...

i use lacrosse burly 800's when its cold, and lacrosse grange when its hot. they are both great boots. as far as the warmth goes i can sit all day in the cold with my burly's and my feet stay good...

can i shoot hevi-shot through my choke. on my choke it plainly says "lead only". i was just wondering. i priced the hevi shot today its expensive, almost like buyin rifle bullets.
