The day I shot my first deer I went out by myself and hiked into a spot about 2 miles off the road and shot a nice buck. it ran down to the bottom of the draw, but that was ok cause I was excited....

me too! ... got 2 mulies this year and still followin the whitetails around with my bow. hope to get one yet. great year i saw more bucks this year than does for the first two and a half months...

this is the first year that ive actualy got anything so i had to add it up to show my wife... after liscence, gas, butcher, makin sausage and gear it worked out to under 1.00 per pound. but i got two...

dont ruin that awesome flavor with a bunch of garbage.
trim off the fat and bones, sprinkle a little bit of "hys" seasoning salt and a little garlic, rub it into the meat and barbq on medium heat....

i know of two antlered does taken in the same area i wonder if its coincidence or if its passed down. its also an area where there are alot of hybrid deer, mule deer and whitetails interbred.
