Got Buffalo county tags ,Just aren't seeing much. Seeing all kinds in Bon Homme county my home county. But they won't let me use my Buffalo county tag there!

Any of you going hunting on the first for the converted doe tags. We have a chance to fill any unfilled tags into doe tags for 9 days in January.

I had a buck I shot a couple years ago that broke off his drop tine after I shot him. Had him mounted & my taxidermist did a fine job of repairing the drop tine. It turned out great also.

Fall turkey season

Who all has a fall turkey season ? South Dakota does . I like hunting them in Fall as well as spring , goes well with archery deer season

I'm guessing around 30 ,kinda lost count . Got lotsa turks in my area . They are as thick as chickens in the barn yard where I hunt.

yea I shot this buck the first night out. Was in tree at 4 ,and shot him @ 5 .Shot him @ 4 yards from the tree .He followed a doe in . Daughter was with me when I shot this buck . I'm color blind so...

oh yea just get in there on a windy day ,down wind of course .peek each row . it's slow going but if you take it slow you might be suprised what you drag out . taken several deer this way.

you get to keep road kills ? In South Dakota our conservation officer takes them especially if it's a nice buck. He's also a taxidermist .

I used to own a kodiak magnum in the 70's . It was stoled from my truck in 1983 never ever found. I sure miss it ,as I took alot of deer with it.
