Thermocell does not work very well while moving. Try some of the alternatives that the others have mentioned.
While sitting in a deer stand, Thermocell cannot be beaten. It works great.

I went through the same research process but I ended up buying the Nikon Premier LXL's. Theyare an awesome set of glass. I did manage to get a get a deal on them so that was also part of the decision...

You should also look at the Nikon LX's. Try to find the Venturer model which has since been upgraded to the LXL. The only difference is a few oz's of weight. They are awesome glass.

I have a Cabela's Revolution Fleece 4-in-1 Parka and Bibs. Works great and is a little cheaper than the Whitetail Extreme. You can't go wrong with either.

I think that you can still buy the Zeiss "Classic" binos from Cabelas.

I been researching binos for some time now. In my opinion, Leica's have slightly better optics than Swarovski's...
