just looking for opinions on this deer. i think 3 1/2 or maybe 4 1/2 years old. maybe 15" spread. score maybe 130".

new hunting property

any thought on a good place to set up on this property? it is hard to see them in this pic, but the property has 2 ponds. the road (Everet) is the top property line. the property i can hunt is below...

release for off string vs. loop

I prefer to attach my release directly to the string rather than using a loop. is there one type of release (style, type, brand...) that works better than others for this. thanks.

I will try shooting with it a little looser, but i dont like my realease to be too loose. i like it to be some snug. maybe just a little looser will do the trick though. thanks for the replies.

release cutting into wrist...

is it only me, or does anyone else have problems with the release cutting into their wrist right at the adjustment buckle? i recently changed realeases and this one seems to really bother my wrist....

stabalizer help

thanks for the replies. i think the black patch is the tarsal gland and is darker now cause it is later in the year and the rut is much more intense. thanks again for the replies.

wow! you really think 150? i was guessing about 122, w/ about a 15.5-16" inside spread. i like your guess much better though. would love to hear more opinions. thanks for the replies so far.

blazer - distance from nock?

i have been noticing that i have placed my blazers closer to the nock than most people. i always thought the close to the end of the arrow the better. is there a rule of thumb here? thanks for any...

22 magnum vs. 17 hmr

i have a marlin bolt action 22 magnum with synthetic stock and stainless barrell....i love this gun and i am considering getting the same gun in a .17...is there enough differences to justify buying...

i use a stealth cam. i have had mixed success with it. dont ask me why, but it seems to work really good when it is cold outside and not so good when the weather is warm. maybe the sensor works off...
