RE: JR's Science Project

My thoughts exactly. I have three boys to teach this wonderful sport to! I guess I had better learn this stuff a little better before the next one hits 5th grade. :D

I haven't shot much in the last few years. For those of you that have shot a BT Liberty, how would the Guardian compare as far as smoothness, vibration andhand shock. Obviously, The Guardian is much...

RE: JR's Science Project

I think the spineis OK. .340 for 27.5" arrow. 29.75" draw length at 68 lbs. At 8.3 grains per inch, that is 228 grains for the shaft only. The same style field tip was used for all tests. I think I...

JR's Science Project

Hey fellas. Been away from archery for a few years. Swamp Jr. has a Sci project and decided to do it on arrow penetration upon an object. His hypothesis was that a heavier arrow would penetrate...

RE: Ripcord, QAD, or Trophy Taker rest?

If the rest is set up properly, you will not have any problems. It is a great rest that has performed flawlessly on my Bowtech Liberty.

RE: THE LONG BORING BOW REPORT RETURNS?

Glad to have you back JeffB. Thanks for the report. I do know that Sportsman's Wharehouse has signed on to be a dealer for Ross. I checked out the 2 models yesterday. Very nice looking bow, indeed.

RE: Bohning Platinum fletch tite

Yep, I like it too. I got a wild hair and tried Goat tuff on the last batch. That stuff is a pain to remove. I will be going back to the Platinum Fletch Tite. Works great on carbon/quickspins.

RE: Quick Spins

The Arizona Easy Fletch works just fine with these vanes. I don't know personally, but have heard that the Whisker Biscuit does tear these vanes up in pretty short order.

Tim's Goat Tuff- How do you get this stuff off?

I switched from Fletch-tite platinum to Goat Tuff a while back. I've tried acetone, nail polish remover, 91% alcohol to remove it from the shaft. None of it takes it off. Any suggestions?

RE: Iowa NR draw results are in!!!

About $315 if I recall correctly. For 1 buck. It gives you a small game liscense too so you can hunt pheasants if you are lucky enough to hunt on a property that has birds. That's a little steep IMO....
