That's ethical of you to be so forthcoming. But I think most hunters won't take a shot at a running deer (At 80 yards no less)....no matter how badly they need meat. It's not like you're in a life...

Need tougher arrows....

I've been cracking some tips on my Beamen ICS Hunter 400's while stump shooting. I need another brand that's about the same weight but tougher. I was thinking about Gold Tips....any suggestions?...

I've read that if/when those metal D loops fail.....the parts can hit the back of the bow limbs....and the parts have been known to deflect back into the shooter's eye(s). Yikes.

I've never shot a crossbow, so I don't know about it's accuracy and noise.

I do know that it's NOT easy to "naturally anchor" a drawn bow. To get that, you'll need to practice....practice alot.

Some people bowhunt in the North West Territories, Alaska or the North Pole...where temperatures drop down to -40s. They've taken polar bears, and those hairy sheeps/cows (?)..I think they're call...

I remember seeing those photos of that deer hitting the Durango. Apparently the deer jumped off an overpass and hit the jeep passing underneath. The driver was not hurt.
