I don't know but with over 20 years experience hunting turkeys on both public and private land, fall or spring,I've found turkeys pretty much act like turkeys...I've hadturkeys on...

The 500 Bantam is a very good little gun...You also may want to look at the Browning BPS Micro, itto has the top tang safety like the Mossbergsbut it ejects the empties out the bottom of the action...

Good advise above....the only thing I would add is when clucking on a slate call move the striker like you are striking a match. Just a quick pop on the calling surface.

I'm not sure what length barrel your Mossy has but mine with a 24" barrelproduces a great patternwith a .660 Hastings choke tube and #5 shot...A .660 choke constrictionwould be a good starting point...

You can glue them up with no problem...Just make sure the two pieces fit together tight...If they are loose that will kill the sound even if it's glued.

Try shooting the 3" version and you may find it will pattern better...Thats been the case witha lot of3 1/2" shotguns...They pattern betterwith 3" shells.

I shoot a BPS which is also overbored...
