What I really like about it is the ease of setting up the dies. To me, it's always been a pain in the butt setting up the bullet...

Yep. I livein the suburbs just east of Pittsburgh on an acre of land. The localbuck population has played hell on the line of Spruce trees I planted as a windbreak on the west side of my property.

Since you've had pass through problems with both fixed and mech heads I'll just state the obvious. The heads aren't the problem.

I'd put my calling success at the other end of the spectrum. I've killed deer that way for sure, but it isn't the norm. It works just well...

I used to lease some land just south ofHundred West Virginia. Man, those deer were all over the place. Overpopulated really.Many of the deer looked frail and under nourished in the area I hunted.

I picked up a used taper crimp die at a gun show. I really like the results using that die in station5 on my Hornady progressive press in lieu of the usual bullet seat/roll crimp on station four....
