RE: I BOUGHT THE BIGGEST CUBE BROADHEAD

This is one reason I like to get my broadheads hitting the same spot as my field points. A nice bag target (arrow brake seems to be a better one) lasts a LONG time, and is easy to get arrows out of.

RE: How " real world" accurate is this rule of thumb?

Poor way to guess an increase.
It would be better to use a percentage than to use a 10 Lbs = XXX increase in speed.
add 10 Lbs to a bow shooting 10 lbs already...and you' ll likely gain more than...

Not sure what you mean by " better spine in useing broadheads" .
Carbon arrows generally are more forgiving in spine due to the ability carbon has to dampen flex MUCH better than aluminum.

As mordecaia said...it' s the fear of missing.
It' s brought on by the in-ability to FOCUS on aiming AND on pulling the trigger...or letting the string go.

Remember that these are THIN blades!!! To get them sharp, you have to use LIGHT pressure! Match the angle Muzzy puts on them and VERY lightly move them across your stone/s.
