I have many firearms, but only 1 weapon, an old Krag 30/40. Wish people wouldn't call our hunting firearms weapons, gives us a bad reputation!

I went on the disabled doe hunt in Pa that was posted here last month. While I did not get a deer, I thoroughly enjoyed the hunt. Jim O'Brien worked his tail off to chase deer to me. Once again...

Picking up your empties along with any other trash you see is a matter of respect for the landowner. Leaving empties around is unsightly and surely not good for the farmer's equipment!

I would go with a 165 gr in Rem, Win or Hornady. Great bullets for deer and will work on other animals too. Try different brabds and use the one that shoots the best. Oh, forgot Federals, many like...

Reality check guys. If you are lucky like me, wife understands and helps cut up and package the venison when I get a deer. She used to hunt herself and has taken 2 bucks and 2 does.

Hope this hunt is still on as I sent for a bonus permit in 2A instead of where I live in 2C. Usually don't use bonus permit, just get one to save a deer as I feel our area is really over-harvested...

I use an 835, mostly with WW Xpert in BB. Have used 3 1/2 shells but 3" seem to knock em down just fine for me.

I have used Winchester Expert 3" steel in BB for snow geese and have had excellent luck with them, dropping geese out to 50 yards. Also have bagged 2 Canadas with these shells.

If prepared properly, groundhogs are very good eating. Unfortunately for me, my mother-in-law passed away so my cook is gone. I usually put them back in holes unless I find someone that wants some.
