It lastsone season. I used to be in thedeer lurebusiness. We would keep it refrigerated before selling it. In between your hunts (during one season) keep it refrigerated, (not frozen). Toss it out...

Thanks a bunch. I didn't want to get in the woods & get a shot & it not be enough impact to take the elk down on the first shot. I hate to make an animal suffer by wounding it.

I have several different broadheads. They are all 100 gr. Muzzy, Grim Reaper,Montec, etc. I wasn't sure if I needed to up the gr.?

yes, very well. it'll turn a buck in an instant in rut. but, early bow season isn't rut, so, not as effective.
