A better choice would be the 7-08 softer recoil than the 7mm mag.A very accurate round and will dump any deer to 300+yds with no problem with good shot placement.tikka and savage are good shooters...

Paper tuning is more tedious and time consuming but when u learn how to do it right the end result will be Broadheads & fieldtips hittin in the same spot.It will also let u know if a bow wont tune...

I think the problem is the rest is to close to the shelf.If the prongs are sitting to far up on the shelf the block will be at to much of an angle making it higher than the shelf not providingadequet...

Try a trufire cushion button they are small,light wt maybe cost you about 1.5 fps. Doen't use the brass nock that comes with them they
have to be tied on so not to add wieght.

Here's my setup: 430gr arrow at 10% foc (125gr fixed) traveling at 271fps =70lbs of ke.My brhd's & fieldtips have same poi to 60yds.
This is not enuff for the biggest bear? Geuss again.
