That wouldn' t be bad at all shaunpm. A 150 grainer might just blow throw him without doing too much damage, and the ammo is real cheap at Wally World ($8.97 here). A .30-30 seems almost forgotten...

I agree with the others who say the 22LR is too small for coyotes. These are tough critters. You may kill him, but it might take a while for him to die. Plus, you probably will never find him,...
