It' s in Lanark county, just west of Ottawa...a stones throw from Almonte.

Deer are all over the place. It is not uncommon to see 60 deer in any one of those fields.

Dan, it appears some tags were issued previously but not enough. It seems now they will issue permits ( between 3 and six per farmer ) but apparently that' s not enough...

Same here in eastern ontario, lots of trails and tracks. Seen plenty of deer while driving the back roads in the middle of the day. The one' s I' ve seen looked real healthy too.

Skeeter, I went out again this weekend, saw plenty of trails and feeding areas...tracks indicated there are some large bucks in the area. The bush is pretty thick and it made for some hard tracking...

I know what you mean now. Someone I know registered 3 rifles and they sent him back one sticker but didn' t identify which rifle it was for and also the serial # didn' t match anything he had sent...
