RE: Mathews Legacy with Bodoodle rest

I agree with Hunter 9022. Always be measured for arrows with your set up and release. With a new bow it doesn' t hurt to double check your measurement when you go back for your second set of arrows...

RE: Blackhawk Vapors

Blackhawk makes several different carbon arrows--large diameter, carbon wrapped aluminum, as well as regular diameter all carbon. I have sold both the reg. diameter carbon which are close to a 19/64...

RE: Muzzy Zero-Effect vs. Whisker Biscuit

New2Archery
I would try to find a Pro shop that carries all the rests--they are all pretty popular-- and get your hands on them. The Trophy Taker and the NAP work similiar but the string (release...

RE: Rest Suggestion for Mathews LX

Shaffer makes a rest that is similar to the Mathews and has a drop a way option that you could try and if you didn' t like it could remove.

RE: mathews vs. hoyt ?????

You can' t go wrong with either the Hoyt or the Mathews. It is all in what feels good to you. I went with the Hoyt because the grip is much smaller. The less hand you have on the bow for me is...

RE: bow string break in period????

Seems like its off alot to me also for just string stretch. I would check my nock ing point and my rest to see if either have moved.

RE: Muzzy Zero-Effect vs. Whisker Biscuit

You are comparing 2 totally different styles of rests. The Whisker Biscuit is a full contact rest. Where the Muzzy is a practically no contact rest. The Whisker Biscuit does have some noise...

RE: CXL 150

JD
Carbon Express makes a tool just like you described for changing the weights and it isn' t too expensive.
David
As far as heat on carbon arrows is concerned nobody recomends it but if you...

RE: FINALLY GOT IT !!!!!

Congrats!
I' ve had mine for a couple of weeks now and am just loving it. Mine didn' t take too long because it is camo--it seems like the colors are the hold up to me. Either way it is worth the...

RE: What to look for in a stablizer?

Definately go to your local Pro shop and try some different stabilizers for yourself. You need to shoot them on your bow so you can feel which one takes out the most shock and also stabilizes any...

RE: arrow selection

I like the vapor speed 23s. They perform like the CXLs but are a little cheaper. The specs seem to be consistant and they are as durable as any of the large diameter shafts. A couple of my staff...

RE: Help With Large Shafts

Those shafts are very stiff as well as on the heavy side. Try to load up the front end with weight to lighten the spine. 3" vanes are the most popular for that type arrow that I have seen. You...

RE: which release to get

I would second trying a few different releases to make a better informed decision-both truball and carter make great releases. Find the one that feels good for you.

I like my extreme sniper sight but the pins are a little dark so I am thinking of putting on light.

RE: CXL 250 (Will they stand -up)

I shot the CXL 150s for 3d last season and they held up well--just don't twist when pulling and do use a nock insert. Shrewd makes some for the CXLs and they work great. They are not as durable as...

Could you tell me what you think of the spiral cam&1/2? I ordered my Ultratec in the reg. cam & 1/2 but am wondering now if I should have gone with the spiral.

I think you are talking about bi-delta vanes--they look like two vanes put together in one piece.

RE: pin size

Truglo makes a sight that has a graduated pin size called the Eyesite. It has the biggest pin for the shortest yardage with 3 pins and the option for the top one to be tritium.

RE: SIGHT CHOICE OPINION PLEASE

I second the Copperjohn Pro. They make a fixed mount or a dovetail mount. Extreme also makes a good sight, the Sniper that has a very small pin and will also take a lens but it costs alot more.
