RE: Which tree stand?

Well, like I mentioned I have the old model tree lounge and do like how comfortable it is, and with a little patience and practice it can be used quietly, but it weighs in at 35lbs, just a little to...

Which tree stand?

I' ve been contemplating a new climbing stand. Narrowed it down to 2 choices, either tree lounge or lone wolf. Anybody have any input. I have an older tree lounge, but it' s too darn heavy and I' m...

RE: What works best for raccoons?

I agree, fish baits work the best. I ussaully keep some panfish in the freezer from summer fishing trips and when I' m ready to use them I' ll let them set out for a day. If they turn too ripe they...

Yeah, they were on the smaller side, so must have been a grey. I' m used to them just sneaking in quiet. That' s pretty neat, really gets your heart pounding. This is the second time I' ve called...

RE: new doe hunting zones in Pa

I think it will be a little confusing until we get used to it. From what I understand they are using physical landmarks, that is, roads, rivers etc. to separate the dmu' s. That seems to be a good...

RE: How far do you have to go to get to the range?

I have about a five minute drive to get to the club. We have 50,100,200,300y rifle, 50y pistol, sporting clays, 50y archery, and most weekends 3D archery. It' s pretty nice, when I find the time to...

RE: How many deer have you taken with a bow?

This past season was my 20th. To the best of my recollection I would have to say about 18 deer. I got 4 this year, 1 buck, 3 does. I don' t think I ever stuck a deer with an arrow until about my 8th...

Anybody ever heard a fox make vocalizations ?

I was out earlier tonight and was at about my 5th set up. I was using grey fox pup distress sounds. After about 10 min I turned the E-caller off and as soon as I did I heard a coarse, raspy barking...

RE: Which would you get?

I would pick the 7mm mag just out of personal preference. I' ve shot plently of deer with mine, and I' ve never had to use any tracking skills. Also, one caribou bull that only stggered a few yards...

RE: 44 mag for coyote?

I use a uncle mike's bandolier type holster, you can find them at just about any shop. I don't like the hip/belt type for the revolvers too heavy. I end up walking around tugging my pants up all day.

Ok coyoteseeker, I've been proven wrong by experience. Like I said though, I hadn't tried it but it was just an idea. Not that I would buy one just for coyote, but I wonder how a .410 slug would work?
