Packer unit 270 Montana

Anyone know of a packer that operates in 270? trying to get away from having to pack an elk out on my back should we be successful.

PA's has been the last saturday in april and WVs has always been the previous monday, doesnt make much sense for a biological stand point for a state south of PA to open their season later than PAs....

Just an FYI, WVs spring turkey season opens a week later than usual 4/28 to be exact. Kinda messes up my PA season ugh.

With both cartridges loaded to 2,800fps and the bullets being the same make and style, the 7mm-08 pass's a .308 at right around 200 yards in both muzzle vel and energy.
