RE: digital trail cameras?

Had three Cuddebacks - they all went back, couldn't get any of them to work correctly.

Currently use 4 moultries - trigger speed is slow, but we can put in a 6 volt rechargeable battery, hook it...

RE: Norway spruce bedding project year 5

I own land in Northern Missouri and can't get a spruce or any sort of evergreen to grow for the life of me. Seems like the late summer drought always takes them out.

What's your secret?

RE: Neat Feb. Corn & Ice Pics

Beautiful pictures - wish we could get that kind of snow here in the midwest. Last two winters have been disappointing. Ponds are beginning to dry up.

RE: federal fusion

300 WSM - 165gr.- took a deer at 225 yards, it ran 40 yards then piled up. Lung shot, no other visable organ damage - 150 grain BST's I was using tended to make mush of everything inside, but deer...

RE: Anyone Using Federal Fusion Bullets ?

Used them this year. Took two deer, one at 30 yards and one at 220 yards with 300 wsm 165gr Fusion ammo. The one at 30 yards was shot through neck and dropped in it's tracks - little difference...

RE: Any body have any experance with the 300wsm?

I've owned one for four deer seasons now. I tell people it kicks like a mule in my Savage 16FXP3, much more then a 12 guage which I can shoot all day - even after the addition of a Pachmyer recoil...

RE: ATV disk reviews

We purchased a King Kutter - I would say I'm 30% satisfied with it. In my opinion the discs are not at an acute enough angle to break up soil well. It works "okay" with moist, bare soil, but not too...

RE: Bambi

I've always liked the story of Bambi, ever since I was a kid. Except for the portrayal of the hunter. Hasn't ever kept me from shooting a deer or hunting though.

I doubt if it would have that...

RE: Any Missouri slobberknockers yet?

Harrison County Missouri - just south of Iowa border along I-35. Not seeing a darn thing worth metioning. Some does, but no shooter bucks. No bucks at all actually.

But I've got faith. Sooner...

RE: What are your range experiences like?

I shoot at a Missouri Conservation Dept public range, $3 an hour beats any prices private ranges want to charge here. I don't mind the rules, they help keep things orderly. Have never run into any...

RE: Smith And Wesson Sigma

Can't say I'm a fan. Purchased one in 9mm, couldn't hit anything with it, by anything I meanan 18x18 inch target at 15 yards - put 250 rounds through it. Wasn't just me, had several people try it,...

RE: info on trail cam?

I own the stealth cam 35mm. Got one set of deer on it, everything else shows open fields or woods. I figure wind, rain, something setting it off. Who knows - going to retire it, film costs too...

RE: Question Pop Up Blinds?

I use the Ameristep Penthouse. It looks huge in the store, but not so big in the woods. I can stand in it fully, plenty of room for two people. The supposed scent control system I feel is pretty much...

RE: Thermo-cell, Does it smell?

I tried one last week. Started it up in the truck before I drove to my hunting area, noticed smoke coming from it in the enclosed truck cab. Given that, I suppose it does have a smell to it, although...

RE: savage 116fxp3 30-06

I've owned the SAVAGE 16FXP3 Package with 3x9x40 scope in .300 WSM for three deer seasons. My only complaint is the poor recoil pad which comes with the rifle. I replaced the pad, but in so doing...

RE: 9mm or 40sw for daughter
