RE: Need low light peep sight suggestion

I really don't think anyone is that concerned with seeing their peep. It's like a previous poster said-getting enough light through the peep. In low light, a deer can just disappear when you look...

RE: Need low light peep sight suggestion

I know this isn't what you're asking for, but I had to ditch a peep because I was missing out on too many shots right at last light. My pins were still bright, but I just could not see the deer...

RE: Should high fence deer pens be illegal???

No, there is no universal requirement to drive out animals. On the other point, I just can't see how one can compare the taking of a bag limit with enclosing animals. In the latter case, you've take...

RE: Should high fence deer pens be illegal???

I did not read the whole thread, so if this is repetitive, I'm sorry. I am against high fences for one reason, and one only. The landowner has been allowed to take into his possession deer that...

RE: Homemade targets using "Great Stuff"

I tried it. I was completely disappointed. I even tried the formula for large holes. I've used the stuff in the past for all kinds of jobs, and was expecting huge expansion. Something about spraying...

RE: Mathews question

No, you do not have to keep the string and cable on the same number pegs, but if you start off on the same numbers, and tune your bow, you will have to change your nock point significantly if you...

RE: I guess Pinwheel12 was right....

Never. Why would they? They already have the best cam system ever made. A hybrid is simply a bandaid for a poorly designed single cam.

RE: Cabelas Outfitter 1.5 cam bow

One of the Cabelas bows was tested in the Outdoor life deal. I don't think it did well compared to the top few bows. I will check and see if I still have that issue.

RE: your favorite pin color

I have the same preferences. Having the red pin as the bottom of three was a big factor in my decision to buy a Copper John sight. Red fades the fastest in low light.

RE: eliminating my peep sight

Well, I can see it in conditions that would have been too dark to see a deer through the peep I was using. Low light conditions are said to be a strong point of the no-peep.

RE: no-peep delima!

The no-peep is not your problem. Your anchor is, I think. If you want to be able to move your sight, you will need to change your anchor, then adjust the no-peep accordingly. Do not let the no-peep...
