Yah when i look back on the moment (which has been burning in my mind since saturday) i think the problem was either jerking the trigger or not paying attention to the sites and having the front bead...

yes, i searched about half a kilometer in the difection it ran, we saw it 20 mins later standing with another herd before they bolted. also, my brother says he saw the bullet hit the ground.

excellent, from what im hearing the .270 is a very good choice. I will still need to look into scopes a bit more though. can anyone tell me how a 30 06 or a .243 compares to the .270 though?

i dont see why people only go for bucks though...if everybody shot a buck there would be none left.
