RE: GKF Mirage vs. any other drop away rest

Well, you make a good point. This was my conclusion. I' ve tried the MZE, drop zone, trap door, mirage, and bodoodle. They all shoot arrows well, are tunable, and for the most part dependable. I was...

RE: Blackknight Accuracy?

I went and shot the BKII yesterday and was impressed with it. I also shot the new Hoyt and it felt awesome too. I really liked the grip on the Hoyt and the BK' s grip seemed a little big. My dealer...

Blackknight Accuracy?

Is there any reason to believe that the Blackknight Bowtech would be any more accurate than my Legacy? I understand it shoots faster and yardage estimates wouldn' t be a critical at shorter distances...

I recently put a new buss cable on my Legacy due to serving wear near the cam. The new cable doesn' t have any twists in it. Is this a problem? Also, I re-served my center serve on my bowstring and...

RE: Drop away for Legacy?

VBM- I' ve used the trap door, mirage, and the new drop zone rests on my Legacy. I have also used many of the popular prong style rests as well. After all my experimenting the drop away rests are the...

RE: MATHEWS, HOYT or PSE?

Bought an SQ2 but later went for the Legacy instead. SQ2 was an awesome bow but I liked the smoother draw of the Legacy, which is also a factor of a longer ATA length

If you want a short bow then...

RE: Bodoodle worries

I use that teflon paint on matrial. It works good but doesn't last long. I practice without it and then paint some on before I hunt. It will not throw off your arrow. Wish there was the perfect...

RE: how?

All this bantering is useless. Nobody tries to wound a deer and High Country is at least doing his best to find them. The bottom line is there's 2 deer wounded and he needs help finding them. I've...

RE: I think I must be making a big newbie mistake.

Geoff, A couple of pointers for you. First of all, hunting requires patience and perserverence. This is my first year bow hunting as well and so far I've killed 4 with my bow and 1 with my...

RE: Black Knight 2 questions

Thanks for all your responses. I believe I'll go ahead and put one on order. It sounds like its quite a bow. If you get any more info let me know as I'll be checking this post for the next week or so.

Black Knight 2 questions

I currently have a Legacy and love the bow. Of course, being an avid archer I want 2 bows and was considering a 2003 BKII outfitted with a Muzzy Zero Effect rest. My questions are:

1) Are the dual...

RE: Best stabilizer for Legacy

All these mentioned are good and I've tried most of them on my Legacy. The best in my opinion is the Simms enhancer 2000 with their module system. I use all 3 modules on the end of the enhancer 2000...

RE: how to fin wounded deer

That's a horrible story and I'm sorry it happened. All you can do is what you did and do your best to recover the animals.

For the future, all the tracking, time, frustration is just not worth it...

RE: New Legacy What B-bead??

I've got a Legacy w/ 28.5 draw and 71 lbs. With the cx 300's and 100 gr tips I chrono at 285 fps, so your #'s sound right to me. I found the key to arrow flight w/ broadheads is arrow spin. So,...

RE: Looking for a new bow.

AB,
Bowtech makes a great bow and the Patriot would be a fine choice. I shot the Patriot and Legacy back to back and the Legacy felt better to me, so I went w/ the Legacy. I've heard the Patriot is...

RE: Bow Case for Legacy

I use that cheap Plano case and it works great. Don't think I'd ship it on the airlines because it could be broken into easily but it would hold up fine on the 4 wheeler or light to moderate abuse.

I shoot a Legacy as well and have to agree w/ Bhunter. The Sims Enhancer 2000 w/ the Sims module system has been the best of everything I've tried. The downside is that this is an expensive combo and...

RE: String Loop Questions

You can view the super loops at www.rock-itoutdoors.com
I like them because there are no knots to slip and it only adds about 3/8" to your draw or perceived draw depending on who you're talking to....

RE: String Loop Questions

The string loop will add to the length of your draw. So if you shoot a 30" draw and your string loop is 1/2", it will feel the same as a 30.5" draw. So you are correct. If you leave everything the...
