I picked up the Admiral this year myself... Love it, not as easy drawings as my previous Mathews bows, but other than that, it's an awesome rig!

First Elk Trip....

Well I booked a trip out west through Cabela's to go on any Archery Elk Hunt in Idaho.... I am looking for any tips, tricks, what to bring, advise, or anything else that will help me be successful......

I installed the Junior on my DXT last week... Only been out to shoot with it 3 times since then, but I'm not 100% sold at this point... It's a great idea I think and for low light it should work...

I think these guys put in alot more time then you realize... It's one thing to kill big deer consistantly, but to do it on Film is a whole new level... Sure they are hunting the best parts of the...

I have the Carry-lite myself... Only taken it in the woods twice, but the first time I set it up had a real nice buck come into it... It is a pain to drag in the woods, but worth it when the time is...

Only suggestion I have would be to try to location an area with a larger concentration of deer (not just bucks)... I think seeing deer is the key to getting a new hunter hooked on the sport...

How many days a week do you get to sit On stand...??

I average about 4 I'd say... Not too bad considering you can't hunt on Sundays here... I wish it could be 7... :D

This year the Rutting Moon falls on the 6th of Nov. Usually the Chasing phase will start 3 days after that... So you figure the 9th through the 12th are going to be the prime days to be in the woods,...

Yeah I saw that as well... I guess maybe the stress of being stolen got to him, he died that fall as well... Hard to imagine what he could have been in his prime without all the stress...

Well, for those that are skeptical that the sheds are from a 2 1/2 year old buck (I am skeptical myself)... it says on the website above that Goliath weighed 260 pounds and had 28 points when he was...

I was at the sporting goods shop this afternoon and they had a set of Sheds in there supposedly from a deer farm in PA... They are also Supposedly from a 2 1/2 year old deer... Who knows for sure,...

I think Whitetail Country is one of the better shows on TV,...
