Okay I've read all of 5 Shots reviews and have narrowed my choice of mechanical broadheads down to the following. These will be 100 grain. I'm also looking for a larger cut diameter.

They look like wood. Mine are 30", 3 - 5" shield cut feathers, crested, screw in point insert (no point installed) and weigh 432 grains. Standard ones without cresting weigh 363 grains. ...

I like walnut over elm, but did you consider yew. Yew is one of my favorite limb woods. Smooth shooting and looks nice. My 10 year old boy has a Falcon with walnut limbs. I have a longbow with elm....

I have a 29" draw and shoot longbows from 62" to 66". I love my 62" Selway Lil Magnums. Easy to shoot. I tried a 58" but had some finger pinch. I think you'd do fine with the right short bow.
