My stand is up about 28 feet. I guess it was just fat that coated the arrow. I just couldn't believe there was no trace of blood on the arrow or in in the immediate area of the shot.

So on the morning of October 31st this year I arrowed my biggest buck to date at 30 yards. He took the shot like a champ though and gave no real reaction to being hit and I wasn't sure where I hit...

Are you pressuring the area too hard? The deer are going to catch on if you aren't doing everything right and constantly visiting the area. Hunt smarter not harder. But the rut is on and the bucks...
