I heard of SHOPPING for clothes and food and such, but never quite heard the term SHOPPING for a mate, so maybe that's what I have been doing wrong all these years lol.

Thanks for all the responses. I think I will look into boar. I agree I do not think I'm experienced enough to be out in the woods alone. I will work my way up to that maybe lol.

I love that you all go hunting together! My 12 year old wants to get out there and hunt, so she is getting ready to hit the range. I am very excited to be out in the woods hunting!

I notice a lot of people here have their own land to hunt, but if you don't, do you all contact an outfitter like I did? If you do what is the average rate of a hunt per day?
