The i450 is a good cam for the money.
They take excellent pictures, but they do have whiteout issues, and eat batteries like mad.
Almost a must to have the 12v stealth external battery setup.

I believe you have a D40.
Moultrie makes a solarpanel/battery plug in for this camera, around 79.99.
But if you want to do a 12v external, like a few of us have, here is a link for it....

I hear ya, we have gotten a steady diet of snow this year.
A little tough on the deer because most of the winter, the snow has a crust on top.

You must have the 2005 cudde, those were excellent cams with excellent dependability.
But, the 06-07 cuddes, have had more than their share of problems.;)
