Draged my sick butt around the mountain sunday..just was a day short and a dollor late. Found the herd on posted ground that afternoon. Awesome experience just watching a big herd bull with his cows....

The rancher definitely said "dog-like". Couger possibly...I just got off the phone with the ranch ownerand he said there is a loner wolf that has been seen around the area since this spring.

If your really worried about bears, get some pepper spray and some small bells to attach to your clothing to alert bears to your presence....If you happen across some bear scat, there is an easy way...
