Been out a few times not a single squirrel in site. But deer season starts next saturday so won't be going for squirrels unless it's later in day.

Our season isn't till Nov. 21 it'll be my first year out for deer season though I'll be using my 20 gauge with slugs. Two tags only this year the county I'm in only had 150 doe tags this year...

I do it the same way though I just got a new/used scope for my .22 still gotta dial it in if it still works not sure yet. If not I've always used iron sight. I've never actually hunted with it yet...

I've been waiting on that as well though the area I'm hunting a lot has fallen off already I've only had good luck walking along logging trails. Find them right on the edge of the woods.

I'll have to try some of these methods of cooking. Since the squirrel I shot this year was my first ever I just cooked it plain over an open flame. I don't mind the gamey taste of any meat so far...

Definitely still too much foliage up even for squirrel hunting or grouse.

But up here in wisconsin it's already dropping to 30's and the area I hunt oddly enough trees are changing and loosing...

I may be interested though it's only my first year hunting. Got my hunters education just last November was only able to go out 1 day but definitely gonna get out a lot more this year.
