Safety on Ruger Mark III

I just bought a Ruger Mark III and I was wondering if any of you guys had experience painting on a safety indicator. I want to paint an orange dot over the F or maybe scratch off the blued portion...

Switching Win 1300 barrels.

I have two Winchester model 1300 shotguns with interchangeable slug barrels. My question is, would it matter if I put the slug barrel that came with one gun on the other one? The only reason I ask...

I'm from michigan too and I don't mind them upping the fees but i think they should do it over time. For instance a buck tag is 15 they're going to make it 30 next year. I think they should raise it...

Sometimes when i walk to my stand in the morning i'll tkae a few steps and then stop, then take a few steps and stop. This mimicks a deer walking too.

No we've always had this ban on dove hunting. It's not putting any new restrictions on us. The proposal was to allow dove hunting in michigan and it didn't pass, so nothing changed.

I've heard of someone who did that and didn't hit the artery. They waited until the next morning and it was dead. It would take more than 3 hrs for it to die probably. You may have pushed it.

Yeah but the drop of you arrow wouldn't make you hit it further back. Get out there and look some more. Maybe you caught the liver. Start looking in brush piles and doing grid searches.

There is a bh that has two sharp blades and one dull for this purpose. Shot a muzzy with two sharp and one practice and see if it shoots straight. It may work.

11 Deer, 1 Antelope, Quite a few pheasants, squirrels, rabbits, 3 turkeys, and countless number of chipmunks many of which were taken with a bow!

Sorry for accusing you of not hitting it right. You never mentioned anything about the other land. Have you shot your broadheads you hunt with? Do they hit the same as fps.

Isyour bow tuned and your broadheads sharp? You don't need a pass through. The arrow only has to go in like 10" to go through the first lung and puncture the second. Also not to be mean but you did...

What happens when gut shot with gun?

I was curious what the difference is when you shoot a deer in the guts with a gun or bow. Do you still have to wait 8hrs? Will they get up and run away? Thanks.

When you gut it stop at the rib cage. You have to reach your arsm way up there to cut the esophogus. Also this should be obvious but don't drag/hang it by the neck. When bringing it out of the woods...

I think you hit too far forward if you hit heart on qtr away. I always aim for heart on broadside. If i hit dead on I get heart. If i hit high or the deer drops I hit lungs.

I shoot 100gr Noslers. I haven't hunted deer with them yet because I hunt mostly shotgun only zone. I can say they work great on antelopes at 350yds though.

Keep the wind in your face and always enter from the back of the stand. Pretty much any stand deer can come in from behind you. If you keep yourself consisten you'll have a better chance.
