Here's a picture with my wife and the upcoming turkey hunter. My daughter was fascinated by the turkey.

The turkey was 20.5# with a 10 1/8" beard.

The 12 will throw more lead, but the 20 is fine for turkeys. You just have to know your limits. I always recommend a full choke in the 20. Keep the pattern as tight as possible.
