The Phoenix is a great bow. If you bought a 05 it should come with Stone Mtn string/cables, if not, ask your dealer for the upgrade. I've had all 3 Phoenix's and now settled on the 34 for this year!...

I did it with mine. They bend easy with a pliers. I bent the prongs for the same reason you want to. That way if I twist/tip bow when hunting the arrow doesn' t fall off as easy.
