It is pretty tough to shoot a bird with the bow. Last year I was fortunate enough to get a shot but the turkey flew off with the arrow in him. He turned at the last minute and i hit him in the back

I would use the small plots so that the deer will not have to travel as far to get to the plot. And if you could put it close to bedding areas it would reduce the amount of exposure the deer would...

I would not have climed into the stand. I think that if someone spends time making and scouting for a stand he should be the one that is able to use it.

I believe that rifle hunting is not cheating eventhough i prefer to use the bow. Shooting deer at 300 yards is not a very easy thing to do and that is why i feel that it is not cheating.
