17 Mach IV ammo is commercially made by Cooper Ammunition. The point is mute now as I have decided on a .221 Fireball using 37 grain hollow points. Thanks for the response.

Thanks, I do too. I normally used a 6C cell maglite and covered it with red cellophane as you say. Someone talked me into one of the Optronics, but I wish I would have gotten the 250 yd one!

I'll agree with pharaoh2. Semi rifles are illegal here in PA, so the Ruger doesn't cut it. I love my Savage Mark II. Great gun, very accurate, and 130 bucks!! Not bad!!
