lemond, I do 99% of my turkey hunting in Pennsylvania and Maryland...we have some birds down this way, in fact we have alot on one of my properties, but the hunters here all hunt them like they are...

lemond, the beech nuts fall from the casings in about another two weeks or so...makes it real easy on the deer to get to them. Before that, they eat the lower, reachable mast whole. I rarely hunt...

I think Sika nailed it...Delaware has a great compromise that should satisfy both meat and trophy hunters alike. Personally, and I' ll admit it' s selfish[8D], I hate the November shotgun season...
