It was a Savage Stevens model 62. Thanks for the input. I soaked it in gas for a night and pulled it out today. As of right now it looks like it will be a usable gun with some elbow grease.

I have been the proud owner of a Remington 700 in. 270 for about 10 years. The furthest I've had one run is about 20 yards. I would highly reccomend it.

I'm not sure if that is what it is called or not, preserving the skull and antlers giving the skull a white washed look. How do you do it. Thanks for any help.

I own a Mossberg 835 and I use it for every thing from turkeys to quail and rabbits.I use light 2 3/4 loads for trap and 3 1/2 loads for turkey hunting.Personally I would not trade it for a Remington...
