Franklin County is as precise on the location as I can be.

I was really impressed with how muscular this deer was. His neck/chest was ripped. He had a fairly slender rear end in...

Missouri Buck - My Biggest

I just got back from my MO deer hunt. The best weather we had all week was opening morning. It rained non-stop after that. Fortunately for me, I was done by 8:45 am opening morning! I selected a...

$2000 sounds like a 2 gun setup to me. I would go with something like the 25-06 for your whitetail hunting, then go with something larger, like a 338 for your other adventures. My setup is a 7mm...

I use the Lumenoks on my ST Axis. I've never had a problem with them shooting 5" low. Maybe at super long ranges, but mine are on out to 30 yards with no adjustment.

RE: Trophy Ridge/Rocket Undertaker/Meat Seeker

That BH in the pic is the Trophy Ridge Undertaker (or was last year). It was originally called a Piston Point until bought by Trophy Ridge. My pro-shop guy swears by them, so I tried them last fall....

RE: To ATV or not to ATV, that is the question.

I don't bring mine. Legally I cannot take the ATV any places I cannot take my truck. It just isn't worth dragging it along.

RE: Kwikee Kwivers - Feedback Wanted...

I had been using the Kwikee, but have switched to the Bohning Lynx this year. Like jmbuckhunter I like the 2 sets of arrow holders and the broadheads "float" rather than stick in a holder.

RE: Broadhead vs. Field Point Grouping Problem

I was having the same sort of issue with my BH's. I changed my setup a bit from last year, so I had to do some tweaking. I had to adjust my rest to get the BH's grouping better. For you, I would try...

RE: what weight Axis arrows and size whisker biskit

The 340 is actually heavier than the 400. It depends on the spine of the arrow in the end rather than the weight. There are some good threads on this forum about selecting the correct spine. I shoot...

RE: adjusting the nocks on axis arrows

They just twist. I nock them on the bow then turn until the cock vein is pointing straight up. Some of them are in pretty firm, but they are not glued in.
