Back to the original question...does a 308 cause less meat damage than a243 or 270? I know they will all cause damage to meat on less than perfect hits.

Remington core lokt, & I am putting it where it should be, although sometimes there is a slight angle. And I've killed a lot of deer.

I'm getting tired of losing meat on deer due to the extended
Damage that my .270 & .243 do on well placed shots. Hits in
the cage end up with bloodshot shoulders or back straps. As
I'm a meat...

RE: 50-60 lb or 60-70 lb ?? Pro 38 or Ultratec ??

To be fair, Huntemup, you should explain that you went from a low-end Hoyt to a high-end Bowtech. And also let them know how ugly they are!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img...

RE: Release aid question.

Do yourself a favor and check out the lil goose by scott archery. Consider the buckle strap, because it is always consistant with your anchor point. I just bought one and love it. A couple of other...

RE: hoyt versa cam?

First thing you need to do is identify what cam # you have. 1,2,3,etc. Let me know and I will write back with the info you need. The cam # relates to draw length.

You are right...

Hoyt cable configuration

Can someone help with how a 2001 protec should be set up? My dealer is a great guy, but lax on details. He had my cable guard backwards,(according to the manual), but I have no details as to whether...

RE: Hoyt Pro Tec with cam and 1/2

I would look real hard at the razortec and havoctec, as well as the cybertec. I have a protec, its a great shooting bow, but I like the shorter length and speed of my vortec for hunting and 3D. Just...

RE: best bow of all

Pup,
You are growing. I would suggest what ever bow you get should have adjustable draw length, not only for you but it should be easier to sell when the time comes, unless of course, you buy the...

RE: Thoughts on Hypertec?

Don't even think of getting the hypertec unless your form is perfect
and you don't mind a bruised fore arm. My son-in-law shot the 2001 model and now has the 2002 model, with the redline. It is a...

RE: What's the best carbon shaft arrow out there?

When you say &quot;the best&quot;, how much do you want to spend? Carbon express has a great arrow, but my pro shop won't sell them anymore cuz they are now made in Korea. Bemen ICS hawk is a good, inexpensive...

RE: 2002 Hoyt bows and rests?

I have had 3 new hoyt bows, put the quiktune 1000 on all of them. Never had a rest problem. Last 3 games I have shot came up a total of 899-112x. I'm very happy with that rest. I tried a derringer...

RE: PABowhntr - Havoc-Tec question

Chad,
When you shoot the versacam, in your draw length, be sure to have the letoff adjusted to the recommended % that is in the owners manual. Made a huge difference for me. Try it there, and if...
