and as has been mentioned...dont forget about KE

not only will the higher poundage bow be abit faster...but the heavier arrow it shoots wont lose speed as quickly.

Fred Bear also did alot of hunting for critters that are much larger and meaner than a deer. In such circumstances maximum penetration may well be on top of the priority list lol.

Ive seen pix of B&C 8 pointers but they sure arent common. Ive even seen a 6 pointer that almost made it...it netted in the high 160's if I remember right....was in North American Whitetail magazine...
