RE: Late season success

My lastest bow kill was on dec 25 in 2001, yeah its cold but thats when the biggins move and need to feed. and as far as a hunting goes i hunt from a ground blind with great sucess.

Im from the U.P of mich and the bucks are starting to lay down lots of scrapes and rubs here right now the peak might be over up here by the time rifle opens. Have to wait in see.

I live and hunt in houghton county in Upper Michigan deer numbers are pretty good here even though the winter hung on a little longer than normal. But there are still quite a few big BUCKS!!

Late season bowhunting is my favorite time to hunt actually. Deer migrate here so i hunt the trails they use and food sources also. Best time of year to kill a big buck i figure they need to put on...

Northern MI.here the pre-rut is in full swing with rubs popping up over night like crazy and a few scrapes. it wont be too long now cant wait till this weekend snow is in the forcast.
