you can't plant enough seeds for the deer, whatever you plant they will eat, if you have a lot of deer then you had better have a large area to plant 15 to 20 acres or you are wasting your time

plant sunflowers instead and a lot of them, at least 75lbs per acre and 450 lbs of fertilizer per acre, black oil seeds seem to do the best job, toss in 1lb of turnip seeds and 25 lbs of forage oats...
