check out the hoyt charger or bowtech assassin, i own a hoyt charger and my dad owns a bowtech assassin, and both are great bows without breaking you wallet. you get great top of the line performance...

I actually have 27 1/2 inch arrows, which means i must have calculated wrong at some point. So you are right i probably have below 10% foc i will try and measure again and see what i come up with.

Wasn't real sure what foc was at first, but after a little reading i calculated to about 11.5% with 354a grain arrows and 75 grain muzzy's. Does that sound right?

I think the biggest factor is broad head and shot placement, if you hit the off side shoulder then the arrow already went through both lungs, and should have been dead.

I bow hunt because it takes my season from 2 weeks to 4 months and I love the challenge of getting to within bow range. To me shooting a deer with a rifle is easy unless you are targeting one...

they will probably come back after a few days, but if they scent you more than once they will not want to come back through that area. just don't over hunt your stand and you will be fine.
