well I got a deal on a 243. So we got one tonight. total after taxes was $272.50 came with a mounted Simmons scope, sling, and a soft case. My dads going to buy some dies for it if she cant handle...

Cor-Bon has some loaded 125 & 150 gr. hunting loads. I'm guessing that the bullet would need to be a real soft one for slow speed expansion. This is the only problem I see with this .300...

yea Bill I know all about that re-cockin business. The first deer I shot with the 10inch 30-30 barrel came in and I cocked it. While waiting for a broad side shot the doe turned around and left....
