Well tomorrow is the opening day of the Thompson Park hunt in Monmouth county......its does only, and only able to hunt till 9am, but I haven't gotten a deer yet this year so this is my best chance....

Last night went for a walk with my wife and our dog in Thompson Park, and came across a piebald doe with her fawn...

her whole body was white, whith the exception of her neck/head and her legs...

Alot of road kill on Rt. 206...funny enough never alot of the developments, and not to many in the wooded parts...

Monmouth county Park Permits

Went yesterday and picked up my park permit for the monmouth county hunts.......so far 3 days in they have a total of 18 permits issued, and turned away a half dozen people for inadequate...

I know a guy that killed a doe last season with a crossbow....man did it do some damage.

Guy isn't handicaped or anything.....just overweight. Shot the damn deer from 65yds away.

Has anyone ever hunted this park? It's located off of Texas Rd. in Middlesex county. Its a big park 1700 acres in size.
