Nosler 90 BT(243/6mm)??

They have a 95 gr BST and BT.

Has anyone ever used the 90 gr BT for deer sized game?

This bulllet is referred to as a "hunting bullet" not a varmint bullet.

The criteria that fails most of the heads is damage...if it gets damaged or blades dull too quickly in the test if fails.

Yes I know the 1972 has premium Douglas barrel.:D I have done a preliminary check and it was shipped in mid to late 1972 so I HOPE it does have premium barrel on it.

If I can keep my groups tighter than 5 inchs at 50 yards I will not hestitate to take a 55 yard shot at a bull moose. They do not react to the shot like a deer and the kill zone is 20 inches.

I recently bought some Sonic 125's, they look like a very tough and well built broadhead. Trouble is they also look pretty small.

There are quite a few small diameter heads out there right now...

Maybe try one of those NEW HMR .17...I hear that they do NOT exit coyote size animals therefore you would have VERY SMALL entrance wound...bullet would most likey disentigrate resulting in quick...

45-70, 450 Marlin or 444 Marlin(with handloads) any of which will do the job under 200 yards on anything, except I would exclude the 444 from Grizzly.

Q2 has about 7.5 inch brace height and SQ2 has 8.5.

Q2 is slightly faster.
