Yes the American Indians would wear a deerskin and sneak right up on deer. They knew that the tarsal gland would cover their scent and sometimes stood in a wood fire smoke to cover their scent.

Dave, never heard of that. My buddy got one last week here in southern MD and it was only about 17 lbs with a 5" beard and only had nubs for spurs. But it had a full tail fan even all the way across.

Use light line. Go when it is low visibility. Wear camo. Cast a live crickett or grasshopper on a small hook with no weight so it will float. You will catch all the small bass in the pond.
