I didn't take a picture because it was a trophy or that it was one of a kind...I took it because it represent something to me...how my hard work has paid off....I shot this dear at my newest hunting...

Yea I've heard the same about the recoil pad . But me personally I don't feel much when I shoot the 7mm and the buttstock is very thin and hard.

I have a 7mm rem mag and its my favorite rifle round...its also my goto round just for target shooting. It dosnt have bad recoil and that's when fired from a gun w ith a butpad as hard as steel.

I killed my first buck a few years ago he ran about 40 yards parralel to me and I dropped him at 40 yards with iron sights. Last year I missed a monster boone and crocket 8 point twice in a weekend....

Yea I believe I've heard of this happening before if I remember it wasn't too much of a problem call savage and ask them they have good customer service or if all else fails take it too a gunsmith.
